Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to an additional 6 years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. As a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Cox manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Cox practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implants to corrective jaw surgery and wisdom tooth removal. He can also diagnose and treat facial injuries and performs a full range of dental implant procedures.
Experienced & Certified Staff
Dr. Cox's staff is trained in assisting with I.V. sedation and general anesthesia in our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. Dr. Cox is a Fellow of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
The surgical staff at Dr. Cox's office are experienced and compassionate and the ONLY California board certified oral and maxillofacial surgical sedation assistants in Redding! All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies and are CPR certified.
